1,000 biocompatible burners sold in 2022

Since F30 biofuel first came to the market, Bolloré Energy has been marketing a biofuel consisting of 30% rapeseed oil under the name Calorza. It has also been installing biocompatible burners for its customers since January 2022.

In November 2022, Bolloré Energy announced the release of its new F30 biofuel, Calorza. This low-carbon liquid fuel enables consumers to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions and meets the new government standards. As of 1 July 2022, the installation of equipment using only fossil fuel (more than 300g CO2eq/kWh) is no longer permitted.

Bolloré Energy has always been committed to supporting its customers towards new, more responsible consumption patterns. To this end, the company is innovating with the sale and installation of F30 biocompatible burners. The biocompatible burners are fitted to consumers’ existing boilers, so there is no requirement to purchase a new boiler in order to use F30.

Launched in 2022, the new product has been a resounding success, with 1,000 biocompatible burners already sold and fitted.

These biocompatible burners are fully compliant with the latest legislation and allow customers to source their biofuel from a number of suppliers, in addition to offering them greater control of their energy consumption.
